You Think That 120/80 Is A Normal Blood Pressure: You Are Completely Wrong!

Most people all over the world knows that 120/80 is normal blood pressure, and that anything higher than that requires a visit to the cardiologist. However, recent discoveries say that this is very wrong.

The ESC Association recently issued new guidelines for blood pressure which say that the new normal is 140 (systolic) over 90 (diastolic).

This, however, does not apply for people with diabetes, in which the limit is 130 over 80, as in the older population.

In the past, 139/89 was considered high blood pressure, and the person was put on special medications which would reduce their blood pressure and prevent the risk of cardiovascular diseases. However, this has changed in recent years, so you can safely go about your day without worrying if your blood pressure jumps a bit.
