The kidneys are a pair of organs located in the back of the abdomen. They play a major role in removing toxins out of the body and their condition should never be underrated.

The kidneys functions are to filter the blood. All the blood in our human bodies passes through the kidneys many times a day. It remove waste, control the body’s fluid balance, and regulates the balance of electrolytes. As the kidneys filter blood, they create urine, which collects in the kidneys pelvis-funnel shaped structures that drain down tubes called ureters to the bladder.  Any kidney malfunctions may result in waste build up that can seriously affect your health.

High blood pressure [hypertension] and diabetes are the most common causes of kidney disease. Hypertension can be precursor of kidney disease later on. This is why you should control and check regularly your blood pressure and glucose level to make sure that they are in normal level.

Drinking, smoking, overuse of medications. unhealthy diet and lot of physical activity can also contribute to occurrence of kidney problems .

Lack of focus and mental clarity

Sleeping problem

Changes in urine colour [presence of blood in urine, or frequency of urination]

Loss of appetite and metallic taste in the mouth

Indigestion

Loss of breath

Skin rush or chronic tingling

Muscle cramps

Pain at the back, just above the waist [where the kidneys are]

Hiccups

Swollen legs or feet

Poor blood circulation
