The shape of your nose tells a lot about your personality. Yes, these findings were confirmed by Professor Abraham Tamir, from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. The results from this research had been published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. In this article we are going to show you 8 different nose forms and their special characteristics:

1. Nubian Nose

 Nubian nose is unique compared with other shapes due to its lengh. Other features of this nose type include a straight bridge and a wide downward-pointing tip. People who have this type of nose are said to be curious and inquisitive. They are optimists who tend to other people’s needs. In general, their company is liked. They’re problem-oriented and always seek for solution.

2. Greek Nose

The word Greek Nose derives from the name of the ancient Greek sculptures.   The shape distinguishes itself through its narrow length and straightness. People with this nose shape are reserved and refrain from being the center of attention. They are very practical and loyal. It is difficult for them to talk openly about feelings and are considered withdrawn.

3. Hooknose

Curved from the base of the nose bone to the tip, this nose shape is often compared to a bird’s beak. People who have the hooknose are imaginative and unselfish. They fervently fight for what they believe in and don’t hesitate to take risks in order to reach their goals.

4. Arched Nose

Similar to the hooknose, the concave nose is curved from the nasal bone until the tip. However, the tip is considerably more pointed.  People who have this nose shape are really strong-minded. They are dedicated to their work and have great organizational skills.

5. ButtonNose

The button nose is very short and looks almost dainty. It is the most popular of all forms because it is not so conspicuous. People who have the button-nose shape are quite spontaneous in decision-making, which often makes other people annoyed. They are also determined and often get what they want

6. Straight Nose

You should know that this type of nose shape is common in Asia.  Straight and a slightly flatter compared to the other shapes, the straight nose is marked by wide nostrils and a round tip. These people have a strong character. They are very temperamental and passionate. If you try their patience they get very angry.

7. The Concave Nose

This nose has a small arc in the nose bone. It is particularly noteworthy since the whole shape looks a little small. People with a concave nose are rather generous and always ready to help others. They are also quite sensitive, which makes them easily offended and hurt.

8. Crooked Nose

Even if the name isn’t particularly flattering, this nose form is actually linked to a loving personality. The bridge of the nose stands out while the tip is very rounded. People with crooked noses are very tuned into what they do. They make great friends and partners because they are good listeners. Also, they are very realistic.
