Do You Have Any of These Symptoms? They Hint Something Bad!

Our body has its own way of indicating that there is something strange unusual happening. Like how many times have you had cracks in the corner of the mouth?  Although that may be the cause, it’s more likely that your body is telling you something else is wrong with you, like an iron and zinc deficiency, lack of vitamins etc.

The most important thing is to notice the symptoms when something’s wrong with us, but it’s our job to recognize those signs and find the right medication.

1. Cracks in the corners of the mouth

The major causes:

  • Deficiency of  Vitamin B group
  • Certain stomach disorders can cause increased secretion of gastric acid that corrodes the mucous membranes of the lips
  • Chapped lips caused by dry, very cold / hot weather or possible allergic reaction to some ingredient contained in cosmetic products
  • Anemia caused by iron deficiency
  • Infections caused by bacteria streptococcus and staphylococcus, fungi (mostly candida)
  • Poor oral hygiene
  • Often occurs in people that moisturize the lips with the tongue all the time
  • Due to weakened immune system, caused by diabetes

These symptoms are a sign of lack of vitamins (B 2, B 3 and B 12), zinc and iron.
Solution: Consume foods rich in vitamin B (dairy products, dark green leafy vegetables, fish, meat, legumes, whole wheat, soy products), zinc (spinach, kidney beans, flax seeds, peanuts, egg yolks) and iron (chickpeas, beetroot, spinach).

Vitamin C improves iron absorption, so it’s important to combine foods rich in iron with foods rich in vitamin C.

2. Red rash on the face that is flaky and / or excessive hair loss

Due to lack of biotin, you may develop a scaly rash with redness on your scalp or on your face, as well as an excessive hair loss.

Cold weather can worsen any skin conditions, especially the facial diseases, so you have to be extremely careful in winter.

Solution: You should consume more peanuts, almonds, chard, goat milk, yogurt, tomatoes, carrots, onions, nuts, milk, sesame, bananas, avocados and mushrooms in order to treat the rash successfully.

Many factors can lead to hair loss:

  • Hair loss is often caused by thyroid disorders.
  • Birth control pills on hormonal base often affect negatively on hair.
  • Many women experienced hair loss within three months after childbirth.
  • Certain drugs, such as drugs for anti-blood coagulation, gout, hypertension, heart disease and depression, can be a cause of increased hair loss.
  • Hair loss can be triggered by certain fungal infections of the skin.
  • Hair loss is an integral part of diseases like lupus or diabetes.
  • Certain types of hairstyles can cause hair loss, such as tight braids and tight ponytails.
  • Chemicals and hot hair oil used for making permanent curls can cause inflammation of the hair follicles, which furthermore leads to damage and hair loss.
  • Genetic factors can also be a cause of hair loss.

3. Red or white growths that resemble acne (on the cheeks, arms, hips)

Red and painful rash on the cheeks, arms and hips may be an indication of hormonal imbalance, but it’s also a sign that your body lacks Vitamin A, vitamin D and essential fatty-acids.

Solution:  You need to eat good, healthy fats, such as flax seed, avocado and nuts. Also, you need to increase the intake of dark green leafy vegetables, carrots, peppers and diary products.

4. Numbness hands, feet and other body parts or burning sensation

If you experience temporary loss of sense along with the feeling of numbness, and tingling in your hands and feet can be a sign of folic acid and vitamins B 6, B 9 and B 12 deficiency. Lack of this vitamins may also result in anemia, depression and fatigue.

Solution: You can prevent this by eating more spinach, dark green leafy vegetables, diary and soy products, all types of beans and many other foods rich in Vitamin B.
