You Should NEVER Go To Bed With Wet Hair. Here's Why...

A lot of people believe going to bed with wet hair wrapped in a towel is not harmless. Beside many experts have proven that the myths that sleeping with wet hair will cause pneumonia or a cold sore are wrong, this practice does have other consequences on your health.

There are three reasons why you should dry your hair before going to bed!

Wet hair leads to split ends
Wet hair is particularly prone to splitting, especially when it rubs against the pillow. This friction damages your hair and causes it to split.

Unwanted Infections
The pillow is the ideal place for bacteria proliferation that is caused by the pillow absorbing your sweat, natural oils from your skin, and even your dead skin cells. Combine all of those with wet hair on the pillow, this is the perfect breeding ground for developing infections.

Wet Hair Results in Headache
Going to bed with wet hair can actually cause you to have a headache. The body temperature tends to decrease to the temperature of the room where you sleep and in the first stages of sleep, increasing in the REM stage. If the hair is wet during this process your head won't be able to adjust to the body temperature which can then lead to a severe headache that can keep you up all through the night.
