How To Protect Yourself From Cystitis? – Natural Remedy



Cystitis is one of the most common health problems which affect women. It is the medical term for inflammation of the bladder. Most of the time, the inflammation is caused by a bacterial infection, and it's called a urinary tract infection (UTI). A bladder infection can be painful and annoying, and it can become a serious health problem if the infection spreads to your kidneys.

Some women their urine contain blood because of the illness and some will experience pain in the lower abdomen, and others will have fever. There are women who experience all of these symptoms together.

All you need for the tea against the cystitis are the corn strands or so called the corn silk. The tea made from these strands is one of the most powerful diuretics.


The corn silk must be dried in a dark place and moderate temperature. The silk should be harvested while the corn is still young. Mature, dry and dark corn silk is absolutely useless and has no medical properties.

The tea helps with kidney and urinary tract diseases, inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), it boosts the circulation and liver function. It helps relieve the pain and spasms in the kidneys.    

Preparation of Corn Silk Tea:    
One tablespoon of dried corn silk (if it’s not completely dry it will lose the effect) pour it up with a cup of hot but not boiled water, let it stay for a several minutes and then you can strain.

Take one spoon of tea in every 2 hours. If you have more serious problems the tea can be consumed in larger amounts. You need 25g of dried corn silk and a liter of water, drink the tea instead of water throughout the day.
