THEY HAVE 213 YEARS TOGETHER – THE HUSBAND IS 108, THE WIFE 105, AND THEY CELEBRATE 82 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!



Duranord Veillard turned 109 in February while his wife, Jeanne turned 105 in May. They have been together for almost a generation. They got married in November 1932, and the same month when Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected as a president of the United States of America. They didn’t know that they would experience this long and that they would experience this age together. They are a living case of the couples who experience their promises talked on the big day, spending whatever remains of their lives together. Duranord and Jeanne Veillard have had five children.

In 1968, after Duranord had lost his job as a judge and had been recompensed a visa to visit the United States, they moved there, and got settled in Spring Valley. Here, he has found another occupation as a lab technician at the Good Samaritan Hospital, where he stayed and labored for a long time, and afterward resigned.
