20 Kinds of Drugs That Cause Memory Loss

Studies have shown that some prescription drugs are causing more than 100.000 death cases annually and 1.5 million people are hospitalized due to side effects.

One of the reasons for this is that many of these drugs are rushed through approval before the drugs patent runs out, leaving not enough time for adequate testing and causing a host of problems among the public.

Sleeping pills suppress the actions potentials of a wide variety of brain cells and reduce our alertness, vigilance and judgment.

Some sleeping pills can cause a state similar to “blacking out” that occurs when some person has too much alcohol in the body and can’t remember previous situations due to damaged brain cells.

2.Statin drugs- this  lowering cholesterol drugs can cause memory loss and this is proved by some studies. Also, FDA advise patients to monitor their use of these cholesterol-lowering medications. They can make a person feel like forgetting something or disoriented and not focused.

3. Anti drugs- the main memory loss drugs are called anti such as antidepressants, antibiotics, antipsychotics, antispasmodics, antihistamines and andtihypertensives. These drugs stop the work of a neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which has a role in memory and cognitive function.

Unfortunately many of these drugs are all available over the counter, so they make more damage to those who have not had proper doses measured out for them.
