If you buy fruits in the market you must have noticed the sticker on them. But you probably never know what they mean.
If the sticker code has 4 numbers and begins with the numbers 3 or 4, it means that the fruit has been grown in the second half of the twentieth century, and it is possible that the product was most likely subjected to inorganic fertilizers.
If the sticker code has 5 numbers and starts with the number 9, it simply means that the fruit was cultivated using traditional way. This means that fruit is organic and was not exposed to pesticide and artificial fertilizers.
If the sticker code has 5 numbers and starts with the number 8, it means the product is genetically modified. This means artificial fertilizers and pesticides were used in the cultivation of the fruit. This food is GMO.
So whenever you go to your supermarket you need to be more careful when buying products.
