Oil pulling or “gundusha” or “kavala” as it is known in the Ayurvedic Medicine, is an ancient dental method that can eliminate toxins in the body and make your oral and general health better. To do this, you just need a tablespoon of oil by swishing it in your mouth on an empty stomach for about 15 to 20 minutes. This method wipe out toxins from your body and help to whiten your teeth at the same time detoxify your teeth and gums.
This pulling technique primarily improves your oral health. However some people who tried the method reported that it also helps with skin conditions, arthritis, asthma, hormonal imbalance, headache, infections and many others. How to perform the technique:
You can perform this oil pulling technique in easy way- just put 1 to 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil [coconut oil, olive or sesame oil] in your mouth and swish it at least for 15-20 minutes, spit it out, then rinse with lukewarm water. During swishing, the oil must become thicker and milky, and should be creamy white when you spit it out.
This technique will be a bit difficult at first, but after a couple of minutes, you’ll get to used it. Do it regularly and you will have a brighter smile and whiter teeth in one week
