Apple cider vinegar is a type of vinegar made from cider or apple must and has a pale to medium amber color.
It is a helpful health tonic that has shown promise in helping diabetes, cancer, heart health, high cholesterol and weight loss.
Here are the health benefits of apple cider vinegar on:
1. FACE
*It regulates the pH of your skin. Combine 1 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 cup cold water in a plastic bottle and apply with a cotton ball morning and night in lieu of a toner, astringent, or agspot remover.
2. FEET AND HANDS
*Rubbing apple cider vinegar onto swollen hands or feet reduces swelling. A wonderful thing to have during pregnancy.
3. CLEAR SKIN
*It can also be applied topically to help kill bacteria and germs, and also draw out toxins. Mix this vinegar with some Epsom salts and add it to a warm bath for an all-over skin cleansing, healing and detoxifying treatment.
4. AFTER-SUN EXPOSURE
*Diluting 1-2 cups of apple cider vinegar in a warm bath after excessive sun exposure – that may have yielded a sun burn – relieves symptoms and lessens the duration of a burn.
5. HAIR
*Use apple cider vinegar as a shampoo/conditioner replacement. Combine 4-5 Tbsp. baking soda with 1 part apple cider vinegar and 1 part water for a clarifying and chemical-free shampoo. Rinse and apply 1 cup apple cider vinegar as a conditioning rinse. Add essential oils to your mixes if you have difficult time with the smell in the shower.
6. WEIGHT LOSS
*Apple cider vinegar has ability to stabilise blood sugar levels for longer periods of time, while also helping to control appetite. Try adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to every 8 oz. glass of water you drink throughout the day.
7. SUMMERTIME BUG BITES
*It’s an antiseptic that can soothe bug bites and skin allergies almost instantly.
8. DETOXIFICATION
*If you are looking for a healthy detox, combine 1 ½ cups apple cider with one gallon of water and drink throughout the course of a day for an overall body and kidney detoxification. Repeat this process for up to three days, but one to two days is sufficient.
9. DIGESTION AND FOOD POISONING
*Vinegar contains malic acid, which can help common digestive issues like constipation or acid-reflux. And because it’s a trifecta of antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, a tablespoon or two in a 8 oz. glass of water may even help with a case of food poisoning.
10. HIGH CHOLESTEROL
*Its high levels of pectin can help regulate blood pressure and can help regulate blood pressure and lower cholesterol
