Honey is a sweet liquid produced by bees using nectar from flowers. Honey is well known for its medicinal properties since ancient times. However, it is important to know that benefits of  honey is not just for  health as there are also some beauty benefits.

Face Care - Fight acne:
Honey is very effective against the bacteria that causes acne breakouts.  It also moisturizes the skin and leaves it soft and silky. Dab a small amount onto blemishes, and leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with warm water

Lighten up dark circles:
 Mix an equal amount of honey and almond oil, then apply it to the affected area (under your eyes) before going to bed. Let it stand for the whole night and then rinse off in the morning.

Smooth out wrinkles:
Got an avocado lying around in your kitchen? This all-natural concoction hydrates dull skin and may help fight wrinkles. Mix one tablespoon of raw honey with half a ripe avocado to form a mixture. Apply this mixture on your face evenly and rinse off with warm water after 15 to 20 minutes.

Hair Care - Add shine:
Treat your hair to this volume and shine-boosting mask: Mix 1/2 cup raw honey and 1/4 cup olive or coconut oil. Apply to your hair from roots to tips, leave in for 20 minutes, then rinse. Use once weekly for hair that shines like silk.
