Ketchup is a table sauce consisting of pureed tomatoes, onions, vinegar, sugar, spices, etc. Traditionally, recipes featured ketchup made from egg whites, mushrooms, oysters, mussels, wallnuts or other foods, but in modern times the unmodified refers to tomato ketchup.
There's a growing evidence that store-bought ketchup can put your health at serious risk, mostly because of the ingredients it contains, such as high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).
There are organic, non-gmo, sugar free ketchups available on the market but they cost a bit more and you can make it at home with just 2 minutes of your time and ensure it’s the freshest and healthiest ketchup that you can make.
Here's how to make homemade ketchup in just 2 minutes:

1/4 cup water
Optional: 1/4 tsp onion powder (get some here)
